Community Block Party -  August 24, 11am-3pm

Community Block Party is a resource awareness event that is slated for August 24, 2013 from 11am-3pm. This event will be held at 2301 NW 14th Ave at Saint John Baptist church. The purpose of this block party is to inform and equip our community of the local resources in our city. In doing so we believe it will help build capacity in our families lives.

During the block party, we will offer free food, drinks, and plenty of local enter-tainment. We currently have twenty different local organizations that have committed to participate in this event. For More information call 806-373-3272.

2^nd Annual Air Fair & Car-nival Sept 7^th,  10am-5pm

Event will take place at the River Falls Airport (just east of Tanglewood Lake), 5.4 miles east of Washington Street on the Claude Highway.

Ministry Wings Aviation 2nd annual air & car show sponsored by English Field Aviation & the River Falls Airport & Bed and Breakfast. Come out and enjoy live music, food & beverage concessions, children's activities including bouncy houses and more. Enjoy seeing the many cars and RC airplanes entered for the show and of course many static display of aircraft & helicopters. Free flights given to children ages 8-17 (while supplies last) sponsored by our local Experimental Aircraft Association and the Young Eagles program. Best of all, enjoy our multiple aerobatic airshow acts put on by several professional airshow pilots from outside our community. Fun for the whole family! Bring your lawn chair or blanket.
